Not only can you take in it's gorgeous scenery, but you have the opportunity to meet and interact with a wide range of individuals of different cultures. One of the best features to this vacation spot is it's affordability. Many people who frequent the Algarve do so because it is very safe for their families and can be very low cost. Whether you're looking for a high class resort or a nice guest home located in one of the many local towns or villages, you can do so in a way that fits your budget. So where as many people will ask what makes this south region so special, you'll find more trouble answering a different question: What is it about this place that isn't so special?
